Ah, a question I can answer.

As a person with dark skin (about the color af milk chocolate), I
would have to say that the same rules apply as for a person with fair
skin (fresh henna, acidic paste, heat, time, etc.). Only thing is the
amount of set time. I have gotten away with leaving the paste on for
as short as 6 hours although overnight makes for a much better stain.
I have also notice that different brands of henna produce different
colors. So it took me several trys to find a henna that did not
produce a color so close to my natural skin color. So far Jamila
seems to work the best. Please keep in mind that the other brands
were all great (including Kenzi's), but the color just didn't work
for me.

I can't wait to see what Catherine has to say on the subject. She
always has soooo many great tips.
