I dont know of any recipes that would cause henna to stain quicker
than normal, but I found something interesting the other night---

I had a small about of Navaid henna left, and started out a design
with that. Before I had finished the whole thing, I ran out of the
Navaid, but since I'd been expecting this I had another tube filled
with Jamila, which I used to finish the design. The design was a two-
tone one, and so this was to make the lighter color. After about 20
minutes the paste was washed off, and the places I used the Navaid
stained a lot darker in that amount of time than the Jamila. But when
you leave them on for a long period of time the two different types
come out with a stain about the same color. My guess is that Navaid
has better staining power, but dies out quicker than Jamila.
Navaid is also ready to use within an hour of mixing it. I'm going to
have to start keeping some around for when I need it for when I'm
doing henna in a hurry...
