What's with the Henna Mehndi Webring?

Recently a whole slew of sites have been added to the Webring list,which I was looking forward to, since I enjoy trolling new henna
sites -- but to my amazement MOST of the new sites are among the
worst sites I've seen, some of them not even directly related to
henna and OTHERS are just poorly done.
But imagine my surprise to find that I too have been ripped off by
BLUE LOTUS henna. They used one of my personal graphics (a picture
based on some Arabic lettering a friend wrote for me) as a background
to their home page (it used to be the background on one of my
pages). I wrote to them over a week ago asking them to credit me and
provide a link to my page or remove it and they have not dignified me
with a response.
SO IT'S NOT JUST TEACUPS!!!
I'm rather disappointed that the webring is not doing any kind of
quality control in the sites they choose to have on the ring.
