Do you think it would be worth it to me to : try to henna my hair? Yep. I know a woman with the most *amazing* red hair I have ever seen -- red hair that I dream about having -- and she's a natural redhead who uses henna. It makes her hair very bright with gorgeous highlights and tones. Henna actually penetrates or coats the hair (I've heard it described as both, but hair science is not my thing), so it will make the texture thicker... I love it because I have thin hair, and it really does get thicker. Some people find it to be a bit drying, but you can combat that with a good conditioner, and you can even add some oil into the henna (I've known spanish women who use henna, water, and olive oil on their hair). Before hennaing, go down the rabbit hole to read the Reverend Bunny's information page on hennaing your hair. She lists some very important points (especially about henna and chemical processes and how you CANNOT mix the two!) Zimra
