Samantha, calm yourself down! It will go fantastically and you will
be hooked on festivals forever!!! At my first ever one, an open air
concert with Billie (or some teenybop singer), I told the lady
organising it that I did it all the time (I'd only ever done one
party before.) I was half nervous, half excited - you sit in a field
for the first half hour with no customers and think to yourself 'what
on earth am I doing here?' Then everything goes absolutely mad and
you don't have time to eat, drink, go the the loo. If I'm non-stop I
go slightly mad - henna the wrong design etc! Customers become a
long sucession of limbs, some people are lovely but you do get the
occasional person who isn't that nice, but that's life. Just put a
smile on your face, and if and when things go wrong - laugh, don't
panic and just wipe it away with some wet cotton wool and start
again. You will have a fantastic time - if you are like me you'll
find the most difficult thing is being away from your children. Good
luck - can't wait to hear how it went - I'll try and ring.
