Hetairae, yes (houris are Persian) ... I didn't know if very many
people would be familiar with the term. Herodotus mentions the henna
was growing on the shores of Greece, and added that he didn't like the
smell of henna. If there are areas of Greece and Trukey that can grow
lemons, there are areas that can grow henna. It may not grow well
enough to be a commercial product, but that's the bottom line. If you
can support a lemon tree, you can support a henna bush.
