The pineol molecule is small and looks to me as it has great
potential, as does terpinene, terpineol and perhaps geraniol. There is
some skin sensitivity associated with the pine oils, but nothing
potentially dangerous like camphor and not as irritating as limonene.

Pineol and terpineol seem the best candidates to my eye, though I'm
going to check geraniol too. Attractive looking molecule. Since
these are constituents of EO's and I know I can get EO's with
reasonable degrees of purity, I'm checking through which EO's have
what. Pine oil has pineol and terpineol.

Pine needle oil certainly worked a treat on the back of my last
clients hand. I've got cajeput in the one on my foot now, and again,
the sole stain is matched by the top-foot stain.
