: : I have just hennaed my hair to a flaming red - it's a a litlte too
: : much for me I'm afraid. I used a natural henna product by Logona
: : "Flame Red". Will this gradually fade out over time, and if so,
how
: : long will it take? Or will I have to re-henna my hair OR use a
hair
: : dye. I am a natural auburn colour anyway. Please help!
:
: Natural henna will vade, but Logona may not be all natural henna.
DO
: NOT USE SYNTHETIC HAIR DYE OVER HENNA!!!!!! The alkaline synthetic
: dyes may react horribly with the acidic henna dye and make
swampbottom
: black, martian green or literally incinerate your hair with the heat
: of the chemical reaction. Let it fade a bit ... then harvesting
hair
: from your hairbrush .... and try other mixes on your spare hair to
see
: how and when something will work. For more info on hennaed hair see
: the link below:

Thanks but another question - can I try another darker henna shade?
The product Logona did satte on it that it was natural organic henna.
