Henna and previously dyed hair..

Hey all,
I've been wanting to henna my hair but was previously dyed. After
waiting and many washings, I did a test with a snip of my hair and
hennaed it. I didn't see any adverse reactions and it was a gorgeous
shade. Since the test came out ok should I go ahead and do my hair?
