Traditionally you can buy surma in souks..
But also Iran has become modern,and so the surma.....I got a few
little glasses wich are filled with surma POWDER!
It is the same stuff my granny mixes with some oil for her eyes...
OIn the surma there are the ingredientsd listed.(I think)-I will
wright you what is listed on the little glass box:

1.8mL Astra(Surma)
CITANEST 3% with
(PRILOCEINE HYDROCHLORIDE)
OCTAPRESSIN 0.03 hU/ml



I treally donītb know what thsi stuff meansd.
I just know,that surma is used by SO many woman in all ages.and I
donīt know of any bad reaction!
