Hi Sophie,I am so glad someone else has had this happen. When I put henna that
should produce a lighter stain over henna that has already given a
darker stain, I have gotten the same results as you describe. But if
I put the henna that ordinarily produces a darker stain over a
lighter stained area the henna with the darker results still produces
the dark stain. I have not a clue why any henna would lighten the
stain of another. Hope someone else has the answer to this. I just
make sure now that I lay the lighter stain producing henna first so I
don't have the problem. Sorry no help. Just company in wonderment.
