So there's hope for me after all? I'm playing in a drum jam this
weekend, and maybe by then the offending patch will have oxidized to
the same color as the rest. I guess I was thinking of it in terms of
nail polish -- one coat dark, two coats darker -- when I should have
been thinking of it in terms of dry erase markers -- the second stroke
erases the first before making its own...? Ah, what an amusingly
unpredictable medium. That must be why I like it so much.
