Sheer or opaque hosiery?Posted by Faery Ring on July 18, 2001 at 19:56:58: In reply to: nylon stocking straining posted by Angela on July 17, 2001 at 11:39:47: Sheer or opaque hosiery? The problem I have with using nylonstockings is that I usually have a variety of them. So some are a little too open-weave which let through big bits and some are too tight so all I get is henna juice. I have yet to find a brand of hosiery that works for me :) :) :). In addition I find that nylons stretch too much so it can sometimes let big bits through. Right now I am considering nylon netting that is used to strain paint that you can find in the home improvement stores. I think it is made by Tuffpro and it costs a dollar. There has got to be a reliable and easily found source of nylon netting that one can use for sifting and straining.
