: I don't think it's silly at all (ESPECIALLY since I've been trying
to
: get the nerve to try MY right hand too). Okay - give - how long
did
: it take you to decide to try it? I'm such a wuss when it comes to
: stuff like this - I just KNOW I'll end up looking like a 3 year old
: drew on me. Any tips on how to handle?

CCJ had a good suggestion that you hold the cone/bottle/bag in your
non-dominant hand and move the other hand under it to make the
design. I tried this method and it worked pretty well.

I also resisted trying to henna with my non-dominant hand. I found
it hard to be a total beginner at something I knew I could do well
with my dominant hand. I had to force myself, and even then I did it
on my wrist so it wouldn't show and wouldn't last very long. It went
alright but wasn't comfortable so I haven't done it since. I am not
sure why I would need to be able to henna with my non-dominant hand
and I hope that I never have a reason to. But that said, it is worth
trying at least once.
