As Sophie said, it depends on your paste. I can only give you my point of view on this, and I haven't ever purchased pre-mixed paste. When I mix a batch of paste, I tend to go overboard, so I usually freeze half of what I make. I am not sure how long it lasts in the freezer, but a couple of months seems reasonable. With the fresh half that I don't freeze immediately, I will use it for a day, popping it into the fridge when I am not using it. When I know I won't be using it for a few days I will toss that in the freezer too. I think in the fridge there is a week to two weeks (again, depending on the mix could even be more than 2 weeks). Remember to keep your henna powder in the freezer, away from air, light and heat, it seems to be the best place to store it. Blessings, Justine Willowhawk
