Hej,

After the last tamarind discussion, I went back and found the little
box of tamarind candy that I bought in the only Asian food store we
have in the area. It's mainly tamarind and sugar, and though I
haven't tasted it, it looks really sweet and sticky. Not having
tried the paste, I can't compare the effects of the candy on henna
paste. Do you think they'd be similar?

Anne, who can't find cajeput oil anywhere and who doesn't live
anywhere close to an Indian store, but does live near lots o' cows
(but that's no help with henna, unless I practice hennaing the
cows) ;-)

: Another sticky addition you can add is tamarind paste (a dollar or
: two at a local Indian store). It's really easy to mix right in and
: I've found that it helps my paste get a little stringier as well.
