It's been a while and a question about black henna

Hi everyone,
I haven't been here in ages so I don't know if anyone will remember
me but I've still been doing henna like crazy.

I have some pics up you can check out here:

I've been invited to do a benefit thing for ToriBash in Houstonon Aug
18. It's volunteer for a good cause so I won't get paid. You can find
more about the event here:

When I first agreed to do it, I asked to be the exlcusive artist
there so I could get the advertisement since I wasn't being paid.
Well, I've since found out that there's going to be another artist
first off and also that they'll be doing "black henna!" I wrote the
organizers of the event with a link to the warnings page of this site
but I haven't heard back from them. I also emailed the other artist
directly and asked what their ingredients were and they said, "henna,
clove oil, euclyputus oil, lemon, and lime." So I asked how they got
it black and they haven't responded. This is their web page.

What do you guys think? I don't want to do the event and be
associated with "black henna" espeicially if someone has a reaction.
And if I do the event should I speak out against black henna and
maybe give out fliers even if they're there?

Typically my paste is just henna and lemon juice because I have such
sensitive skin, so I figure if it works for me then my customers
shouldn't have any problems. I was excited to read about the Siruis
mixes below with the essential oils and the results. I'm going to try
and experiment with some of them this weekend and if I get good
results I might take one of these mixes to the event.

Thanks everyone for your help!
Christina
