A lot of people seem to like creating their own designs... But most
of the time they either don't turn out like the person wants it (by
them not being able to draw, too much detail for it to be seen from
any farther than a meter away, etc) or turns out to be aesthetically
displeasing to the eyes of the artist.

I was just wondering on the thoughts of having people do their own
designs. Do you generally encourage or discourage clients, family,
and friends from creating their own designs if they lack knowledge of
art?
