I should have been more specific....I used CA henna with this mix,
lemmon juice, a little water, and honey, and, of course, the cajeput
oil.
I have been using tea tree and/or pine oil with different results. I
found the henna to stain darker with these oils (same brand name
though, Auria Cacia)
I think that CCJ mentioned that cajeput had higher levels of
terpinols in it? I'm thinking that maybe this is an old bottle and
it went kinda bad or something....It was the LAST bottle in the store
and the owner didn't even know she HAD any! So it's probably been
there awhile.
I'll check my measurements more carefully in the future, I've kinda
just been throwing my paste together til the consistency is
right..not really measuring stuff out.
Hopefully I'll have better info and results next time :)
