Has anyone tried this?

I'm a cone user myself, but I have found Jacquard bottles comfortable
to use when they're completely full. Have people tried Jacq bottles
1/4 or 1/2-filled with old paste? Then you can put new paste on the
top and add more whenever you need it. This strategy may be a bit
suspect because I don't know how adversely a little old paste may
affect new paste, but if you use it quickly enough it should be no
problem.

There's the inevitable problem that may come from using this
strategy - you'll start wasting the new paste on top because you
didn't want to get down to the old stuff early on . .eventually all
the layers would build up and your bottle would be full before you
tried to refill it! I think that such a problem can be avoided, but
this was all just a thought.
