My lines must be expanding when wrapped. The sweating thing seems to make the lines spread. Also, those natural lines in the palm of the hand also presents a problem for me in my own hand but not always in other peoples hands. The creases created by the natural lines in my hands are quite deep and it seems that whenever I place henna anywhere near the creases it sometimes results in one long hennaed line when unwrapped..no matter what the design was supposed to be. But that has also been when wrapped. I just hennaed my hand again yesterday and the same thing occurred. When this latest design disappears on my palm I am going to try it without the wrapping and sweating thing. Ofcourse I did this design with that bionic Gambian henna that likes to linger for a while. One more thing, do you know the magic behind the "shaded" henna patterns. I have been playing with them by using henna that results in different shade stains. I am still having a problem getting a really deep contrasting stain on top of a lighter stain. Should I be overlapping the henna as I am doing or should I do designs with the lighter henna and leave openings in which I apply the deeper staining henna later? Any ideas on this? Thanks for your help. Take care! So you got your hand done. I'm really jealous. Maureen
