I've found that the trick is to not be afraid of your Tea Tree Oil, smelly as it may be. Use a good helping of it in your paste. Here's my methods so far: First mix the lemon juice into the powder and make it thick like a mudmask, then leave it overnight. The next day juice it up with Tea Tree Oil, a good bit too, a few drops doesn't do much. If the paste is still too thick, add a lil more lemon juice (God I feel like an alchemist!). Then leave it sit for at least an hour if not more. Then have fun. You'll only need to leave the paste on for a half hour to 2hours, then go ahead and take it off. It will be a bright yellowish orange at first, then magically over two nights it will turn a deep orange brown, a beautiful, dark stain! I'm thrilled, and have ordered some Jamilla from Mehendi-Muse.com The gal that runs it is a real sweetie and her prices are right. On an expense note, take a look at the pharmacy of your local Wal-Mart near the bandaids and the poison ivy stuff. They have tea tree oil in amber bottles in a 2 oz size. They only run about $5 each. The oil is superb and I've gotten great results from it. I also hear you can get clove oil from them too, but you have to actually go to the pharmacy and ask a pharmacist, for some reason they don't put it on the shelf. I'm not sure how much it runs though. I understand the money crunch right now, I myself am saving up to purchase some erm... better smelling oils. :-) I haven't done any clients all summer really, been at home and working for Wal-Mart just dont' have the time to do it right now. I can't wait to get back to school (in Pittsburgh PA) where I'm right around a bunch of other colleges and I can advertise more than last year and realy get this thing hoppin! I didn't know you had a baby! How old? and what name? I've gotta run, work today... Blessings, and great big pseudo sisters hugs, Sarah
