Stirring the hell out of my paste makes my wrists and all hurt.
Since I'm freaked out about having carpal tunnel anyway, I try to
stay away from this.

I think keeping the henna powder in the freezer makes it lumpier when
you go to use it. I normally use a food type sifter and sift the
henna before adding lemon juice, and that seems to help break up the
big lumps.

I think a mortar and pestle would be a handy tool to have, but I
wouldnt buy it at Crate and Barrel, that little yuppie store is damn
expensive.
