The only difference I have seen in my Moroccan henna is that the crop
harvested during the rainy season (around February/March) is SUPER
stringy and some people say it gives a redder color than normal. The
rainy season is different in different regions so a Pakistani henna
may be at it's stringiest after the rainy season which may, just for
discussion's sake, be in August (I don't know this for a fact, just
an example), but it Morocco it is Feb/March. And so on.

I am sure that there are others on this list with experience with
other hennas that can give you their perspectives.
