Maybe you're not supposed to put it : on hairy body parts? Do you put it on as soon as you've finished : applying the henna, or do you have to let the henna dry a bit, in : which case what do you do about customers who want a fast tatoo and : get on their way? And, how do you get it off? : : I don't seem to be getting dark enough color on shoulders, upper arms : etc. (even with the tea tree oil) to just let the henna dry and fall : off. So what does everyone do at fairs and outdoor events where you : can't expect people to wait around or wrap themselves up in plastic? : I haven't found any cosmetic grade liquid latex, and the latex I use : for mixing paints (powdered pigments) is supposed to be toxic. : : Would really appreciate some advice on this. And btw, do you all : keep your henna in the fridge overnight and take it out to use every : day? If the terped up henna is good about 2-7 days after mixing, : does that mean refrigerated or at room temp.? I have had good results using Nexcare micropore tape. I put it on when the paste is just dry. It isn't good in bendy places unless you can keep them from bending( on fingers and toes I tape them together, etc). It best to put it on in smaller peices to allow for skin movement. If it is put on well it will keep the henna moist and in place. Best part is when you take it off it removes most of the henna. Major down side, it is as sticky as using lemon and sugar. I find if you rub it or use a little olive oil you can get most of it off without water. Good luck!
