how do you do New Skin??Posted by Rosemary on August 8, 2001 at 00:10:44: I just tried some New Skin for the first time on my forearm andcouldn't stand the feel of it. Maybe you're not supposed to put it on hairy body parts? Do you put it on as soon as you've finished applying the henna, or do you have to let the henna dry a bit, in which case what do you do about customers who want a fast tatoo and get on their way? And, how do you get it off? I don't seem to be getting dark enough color on shoulders, upper arms etc. (even with the tea tree oil) to just let the henna dry and fall off. So what does everyone do at fairs and outdoor events where you can't expect people to wait around or wrap themselves up in plastic? I haven't found any cosmetic grade liquid latex, and the latex I use for mixing paints (powdered pigments) is supposed to be toxic. Would really appreciate some advice on this. And btw, do you all keep your henna in the fridge overnight and take it out to use every day? If the terped up henna is good about 2-7 days after mixing, does that mean refrigerated or at room temp.?
