veering off topic to second Darlahood's comment

I couldnt agree more with this statement, and have myself written our
state's congressional representatives to express this view. The NM
gov., Gary Johnson, has made himself quite controversial b/c he came
out against the "war on drugs" and put forth some "radical" new
ideas, such as decriminalizing first time possession, stronger
movements toward treatment than jail time, legalizing medical
marijuana, etc. Without jumping on a big ole soapbox and detailing
his position, I will simply say that i couldnt agree with Darlahood's
comments and would *strongly* urge any one else who shares this view
to express it to their politicians. As long as we remain silent, we
reinforce the opinion that we agree with the way things are.

And Khoa, what happened to you totally bites. You sound a lot calmer
about the whole experience than I think I wouldve been.
