All chemical references describe it as being primarily alpha or some other isomer. Here is the CAS # [98-55-5] 1-Methyl-4-Isopropyl-1-Cyclohexen-8-ol I don’t doubt that there may be other chemicals at may work to improve the stain but I am not entirely convinced that ‘the sum is greater then their individual parts’. I believe that there are specific compounds with specific actions. But I’ll admit I have not done much testing in this area. I am getting some terpineol isomers to test and I will let you know what I find. I haven’t ordered from The Good Scents Company yet. I appreciate being able to review their fragrance database. It’s very interesting.
