Ten minutes after applying the final paste to my skin I found the itching sensation unbearable. I didn't have any reaction to the henna, which I had been using normally without big mixes. Anyway, the dye still turned out fine in the end. If you ever try henna yourself, I recommend patch testing with different paste combinations to check what you're sensitive to, and you might do a plain henna patch test as well to see if the powder is the actual culprit. ~Rupal
