I personally do not like coloured henna. I don't like the fact that
its not really the colour of henna (well duh), it doesn't smell like
henna (mmmmmmmmm), and it doesn't act like henna. Its just not the
same as applying true traditional, and cajed up henna. I personally
work at more than one store, doing henna, and am learning to do
tattoos, and piercing, as well as working on my mehendi speed (its
pretty fast now) and my philosphy is why spend money on coloured
henna, when body paints work just as well. Henna is an aged old
artform, the fun it comes, when you are unable to predict what shade
it will be, using couloured henna defeats that (well my) purpose.
If you are defending yourself by saying that you are using "safe
black henna" How are people to differentiate between good and bad.
I had once thought of using safe black henna, but its just not as
fun and fulfilling as henna.
