Don't know if I'm going to get shot here, but I just wanted to
admit.... here goes...(deep breath)
yes, I have been using coloured henna.
I ran into it when trying to find PPD-free black stuff to stop my
mates doing something they'd regret, and found that it's actually
quite a good way of getting people into mehndi.
I do a lot of work decorating henna designs with kumkum, and found
that if I started people off with coloured stuff (again, and bit of a
plug) from Navaid, they got into it themselves and starting
using 'real' henna and decorating it afterwards.
OK, so shoot me now.
I just found that it's a nice way to bring the trolls into the fold
and then let them develop their addiction to proper henna from there.
