Stump the Forum: henna and vitiligo?

destroys the pigments [melanocytes] in the skin, leaving the affected
patches colorless.)

I will soon be driving out to visit a very special new henna client:
my mom! I've been sending her pictures of my work and she was so
excited about it, she wants me to do some designs on her. She has
vitiligo on her hands, much like the picture above. Does anyone know
what effects (if any) vitiligo has on how well a stain will take?
