Also, I do alot of small motifs on arms, ankles, chests, etc. andfound that applying vaseline to the henna paste 15-30 minutes after
the paste has been put on; in other words as soon as it dries but
before it starts to crack and fall off, definitely gives a darker
stain. I have 2 chinese characters on my ankle right now, both done
9 days ago. I applied vaseline to one of them, and it is a full
shade darker than the other. The problem is getting the vaseline on
at the right moment, and not putting on too much.
Just thought I would let you all know.
