Why you'all are on this subject, can anyone tell me why some peopleget dark stains while others don't with the same mix? Do you see
this happening at festivals? I got a medium stain on my shoulder and
a dark one on my wrist (and I have my period-- didn't know that made
a difference) with the same mix and aftercare as someone else who got
a pale stain on their back.
My mix is:
Day 1: henna + red wine vinegar
Day 2: coffee with sugar to thin it down and make it sticky
and tea tree oil
Day 3: use it
Day 4: doesn't make a good stain, but I haven't tried refrigerating
or freezing it
Also does anyone else find that the staying power of the stain is
diminished with less time of henna on the skin? If I leave it on for
only an hour, the color is paler and it doesn't last as long.
