Do I have to wait for the mordant/tea liquid to cool?

Messing around with different methods again... Trying to find mypersonal magic!
Does anyone know if it makes a difference if you wait for the liquid
to cool before mixing it with the powder? (I boiled lime juice,
coffee beans, cloves, and cream of tartar, in case anyone's curious)
Also, do you leave it at room temp until the henna has released it's
dyes, or do you put it in the fridge after mixing?
