fantastic reference! I'm not particularly persuaded that henna will
cure a migraine .. but it's interesting that Mohammed had migraines
and that he thought hennaeing his head helped.

Because the Prophet recommends henna for a number of things, some very
conservative Muslims I've met feel that these are the ONLY appropriate
remedies, as they were relayed by a messenger of God.

Thus, much of the info on that page will be used to support the
premise that forbidding henna as an import item is an infringement on
these people's constitutionally protected right to practice their
religion according to their conscience.
