The lemon question

Well i don't know if it helps at all... But...A long time ago, when i was first getting into henna, i would go
through a pre-application "ritual" of sorts. For an hour or 2 before
i hennaed, i'd rub some lime or lemon juice into the skin, let it
dry, and keep repeating it over and over. I don't know if it helped
the stain at all though. I wouldn't think that it did, because by the
time the henna is in contact with the skin, it has already released
the dye.
