I've gotten excellent results from paste used just after caj wasadded, and excellent results 48 hours later. Generally, I'm getting
the best stains from powder that's mixed with acid, left 12 hours,
then terped and left 12 - 36 hours more. On my pages, there are pix
with the results from both ways. I don't know what the precise time
envelope is, and I suspect it may vary from henna to henna.
