I think you were lucky because you got medical help and you most likely are not a child, children almost always suffer the most because thier skin is more sensitive. I gave myself a chemical burn from the PPD in the black henna (BH). I didn't think there would be any problem so I gave myself a large design. Luck for mr I only had a bad blistery rash that burnt and itched. I did not go to my docter,but called the vender I bought the BH from. He advised me to use Aloe Vera and not to scrach the area effected, THis prevents the blisters from breaking and a chance of PPD entering the bloodstream. I had a mark on the inside of my lower left arm for about 6mo and it faded away. Check out my site to see it Good luck Joe B
