Hi!
I have been using Kenzi's henna and tea tree oil. I have used it
mostly when it was warm, but once or twice it was cooler. The best
results were when it was warmer, but even in cooler temps the results
were better than with out the TT.

I mix the powder with lemon and sugar. let it sit in a cup in a sealed
ziploc in my cupboard over night. Then I add the oil and thin it to
the desired thickness and strain it through a nylon knee high into the
ziploc. Then I place that into another ziploc and leave it out for 24
to 48 hours. sometimes I freeze it before I use it(plans fell through)
most times I don't. I have consistantly gotton my best stain after 48
hours. I store it in the freezer when not using it and still get dark
chocolate stains on the back of my hand and dark cherry on my palms as
long as 15 days after it is mixed.

I use micropore tape to wrap mine and leave it on for 8 to 12 hours.
The tape does help to keep it warm and moist. this may effect my
results. However, one time I used 2 week old paste on the top of my
foot. I wasn't able to wrap it because of the location so I removed it
after about an hour. I still got a good milk to dark chocolate
color(why do I always get a craving for chocolate when I discuss henna
colors?).

Tonight I am tring an experiment with powder I know is wimpy but
everything else is the same. Our weather is going to cool off tonight.
Iwill let you know how different it turns out.

I hope your festival goes well and the henna works well. You seem like
too nice of a person to have bad henna vibes, even when pregnant. I
bet it is the powder or some other silly thing like that.

good luck!
Blessed be
jolynn
