good deal... and another thing...?Posted by Alissa on September 9, 2001 at 13:24:06: In reply to: Re: Need your advice for after care posted by Maureen on September 9, 2001 at 05:38:33: :The after care is one part of the issue. Also there is the issue of: when he gets into the water. If he has his design on 2 or 3 days and : it is in its full glory, he should be able to put vasoline on it and : the design should withstand the ocean's water and salt and his : frequent showers that will challenge it. I think the first day or : so that the design is on and when the design is breaking up are the : two times when the designs are most vunerable. This is pretty close to what I was thinking as well, so it's good to hear someone else validate it. I'm doing him and his partner (and his partner's mom) on next Sunday, and they leave for their trip on the Tues. after that. When setting the appt. I gave him my schpeel about giving it 24-48 hours to fully develop, keeping it dry the first 12 hours after paste removal, etc. Because they're both looking for armbands, I also spoke with him in advance about any allergies to TT, knowing a terped paste would probably help boost the stain in that area. Here's another question... when asking about possible allergies, I know Vicks vabo-rub is good for eucalyptus questions, and ben- gay/mineralice/icy hot is good for cajeput questions, but are there any good tea tree (and ravensara) questions?
