For those of us on the other side of the rock, it is really hard towatch and not want to help -- but the reality of blood banks having
more than enough supplies and long mailing distances means we have to
either donate money to organizations who help (like the Red Cross) or
to wait until the initial dust settles a bit. They will still need
stuff next week, next month...it's going to take several months to
clear out debris.
