UPS is delivering stuff now and I hear that the post office will
beging regular mail delieries soon. I would suggest that if you have
things to donate that you take them to the local branch of the
charity of your choice. Check out www.redcross.org to find a chapter
near you. Also, the Salvation Army has been getting a lot of
donations for the rescue workers. Talk to them and see what you can
do to help.

Before you send anything find out what is needed. In a few days
their needs may be different than they are now.

The rescue workers, as I am sure you have all seen on TV, are working
so hard at a thankless task. There are crowds of New Yorkers lining
the street that takes them to "ground zero"; they are holding up
signs and flags and cheering. You can't imagine what an amazing
sight that is to see. I am sure that the workers appreciate this
outpouring of generosity from all over the country. Keep it coming!
