Updated stuffPosted by Linda in NJ on September 15, 2001 at 17:39:55: In reply to: Re: More stuff they need posted by Shanon Lavender on September 14, 2001 at 22:12:41: As of this morning (Saturday) NY's mayors office reported that theyhave enough supplies for now. Apparently they weren't prepared for people to donate TONS (literally) of food and supplies within three days from across the country. However they are still taking blood donations and monetary donations to assist families who have lost someone, and the rescue/cleanup effort. To donate money contact the United Way, Red Cross, Salvation Army or NYC. To donate blood (particularly O negative which is a universal donor) also contact the Red Cross, or you local hospital. Of course prayers are the donation you can make without leaving home wherever you are. Peace, Linda
