A phototoxin literally makes you allergic to the sunshine! I had this
happen with a antibiotic ... and wasn't warned. Hooooooboy! In 1/2
hour the sunshine felt like sandpaper on my skin. In 3 hours I was
quite ill. I was trashed for a week. Phototoxins aren't to be
trifled with! Even if your clients aren't bothered, you, as the henna
artist, handling much more of the citrus EO, may be!

Check the link below, and do a "find in page" for "phototoxin" to see
exactly what a citrus oil will to do skin later exposed to sun!
