Of those I know personally (Mambo Miriam and a few others), hadn't
mentioned anything very specific (just the usual forboding images that
always lurk in human pre-cognition) ... BUT .... nearly all
felt certain a time was coming when people worldwide would realize
that we're all one blood and we have to back off of nationalism and
cooperate on a global scale to survive as a species.

Recent events have brought out both the best and the worst in people.
That's to be expected, I suppose. Fear, grief, vengeance, patriotism
and anger are powerful emotions. They can be used for good or evil.
Personally, I'm bemused at the effect its had on the local front yards
..... all the concrete lawn geese are dressed in red-white-and-blue
outfits now. Gung-ho kneejerk jingoism suits a cast concrete lawn
goose, I suppose. But, I don't know if that's the message the owners
wanted to send.
