wow, i'd think in a state where it's illegal to
tattoo that henna/temporary body art would be
very popular.
here in Kansas City about 5 years ago the only
places to have henna done, buy henna powder or
get in touch with henna artists were India grocery/
import stores. Sometimes Arab shops would carry
henna but i could never find an artist. Check your
phone book listings.
Also maybe check with people connected with the
Renissance Fairs there in OK, they might know of
a henna artist, its really popular at RenFairs.
Muskogees fair site is http://okcastle.com
and for info on the one in Norman try Linda Linn
at 405-312-7227.
Keep wearing henna too.......maybe someone will
say.......hey, i know someone else who does that.
AND, hang around here!!! many of the regulars
share patterns/tips/tricks, pats on the back and
sometimes silliness.
