Another woman who's doing a dissertation involving henna (she's
Canadian) told me about the site linked below. She says the whole
thing is plaigerized from Michele Meurin Garcia -- "Plante du
Paradis". That's sad .... but I'd be grateful if someone could help
me pick through the French. I can get the general drift, but that's
about it. It looks to me as though Meurin feels henna came into
Morocco from the Syrian/Lebanon/Palestine coastline in the 2nd mill
BCE, which is what I'd come up with independantly. Cool!

Can anyone help me get ahold of the original book?
