I only use two cups and my hair is waist-length. I'd use half a cup
or thereabouts. I wouldn't use terps but a small amount of essential
oil can be nice to add a smell to the mix. Lemon juice is a good
start for the base. I recommend adding a conditioning agent like
olive oil or PLAIN (not strawberry, no matter how good it smells!!
ewww...) yogurt. Aside from the conditioning benefits, these help
the henna mix rinse out of the hair more easily.
