There are things you can do to make henna stain more evenly over
keratinized skin and non keratinized skin. (Keratinized skin is the
thicker, courser buildup of skin on palms and soles). Palms and soles
take henna very easily, as the skin is very porous. Legs and arms take
more doing to get good stains. So: increase length of application,
heat, add terpenes, and those will help! Info is at the link below.

I sealed the henna on the leg above with New Skin and wrapped it
overnight to get this stain. Instructions for such are at

You can do even better with terpenes!

henna! Adding heat, terpenes, wraps, steam can get you excellent
stains on legs and other bits.
